I am grateful to join the St. Mark’s family as the principal of St. Mark’s School. As an old girl, I particularly value the chance to serve my alma mater.
Founded in 1949 on the ethos of Christian whole-person education as propounded by the Anglican Church, St. Mark’s school is committed to providing quality education to develop students into knowledgeable citizens of high integrity. With the great support of caring and dedicated teachers, parents and alumni, students receive various opportunities to learn locally and abroad. By emphasizing spiritual education, students are taught to shoulder the responsibility as God’s stewards and be determined to contribute to our society; St Markans establish themselves by striving for excellence in academic studies and other pursuits.
Facing the rapid changes in the society, our future generations must take initiative and be reflective enough to reinvent themselves by cultivating their critical mind and lifelong learning abilities. The school provides multi-faceted learning experiences to unlock students’ potential in different areas. Given sufficient support and challenge, all St Markans can equip themselves to face future challenges ahead.
I look forward to an amazing school year to our students, parents and the community.
