Speech Day
Speech Day was held on 27th November 2020
(Friday) amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ms. NGAN, our Principal, gave a report on
the school’s achievements in 2019-2020 and
encouraged F.6 graduates to keep a positive
attitude when they face adversity. The Guest of
Honour, Dr. Roland CHIN, President of the
Hong Kong Baptist University, shared with the
audience what modern universities should be
and the mentality towards education. He advised
the graduates to acquire knowledge that was not
“Google-able” and develop their own critical
thinking. They should examine the education
they receive and should never be satisfied with
what they acquire. He believes that education
should be spontaneous and boundless while the
graduates should have the energy and enthusiasm
to explore their own interests and abilities.
