SCHOOL EVENTS

                                                     Admissions Talks



                                                     The Admissions Talks were successfully held on 5th
                                                     December 2020 (Saturday) via YouTube Broadcast.
                                                     1045 applications for registration were received with
                                                     780 accounts attending the talks.


                                                     Ms. NGAN, Principal and alumna, shared her
                                                     first impression of the School and the experience
                                                     when she was studying in St. Mark’s School. She
                                                     highlighted the enthusiasm and friendliness of the
                                                     teachers and students which shaped an engaging and
                                                     positive learning environment. With the leadership
                                                     opportunities in the extracurricular activities, students
                                                     could cultivate their potential and understand
                                                     teamwork and responsibilities. “Straightway” is the
                                                     school motto and should always be the most significant
                                                     value that students uphold: being truthful and ready
                                                     to take up responsibilities and act immediately.
















                                                     Mr. HO, Vice Principal, elaborated on the School’s
                                                     academic  and  support  programmes.  Ample
                                                     opportunity was provided for students to achieve
                                                     whole-person development. Taking career planning as
                                                     an example, workshops and activities such as Careers
                                                     Day, Workplace Visit, and Job Shadowing were
                                                     organised to help students do better life planning.
                                                     Different exchange programmes with local and
                                                     overseas schools could promote cultural exchange
                                                     and enhance students’ communication skills. A wide
                                                     variety of external and internal activities was held
                                                     to further enhance students’ learning, for instance,
                                                     English Café, Chinese Creative Writing on Instagram,
                                                     Joint School Science Exhibition, Underwater Robot
                                                     Competition, Sandbox Workshops in Geography and
                                                     Symphonic Band Contest.

                                                     To understand the multifaceted learning environment
                                                     in St. Mark’s School, four parties took turns
                                                     showcasing our students’ strengths.
