SCHOOL EVENTS
Admissions Talks
The Admissions Talks were successfully held on 5th
December 2020 (Saturday) via YouTube Broadcast.
1045 applications for registration were received with
780 accounts attending the talks.
Ms. NGAN, Principal and alumna, shared her
first impression of the School and the experience
when she was studying in St. Mark’s School. She
highlighted the enthusiasm and friendliness of the
teachers and students which shaped an engaging and
positive learning environment. With the leadership
opportunities in the extracurricular activities, students
could cultivate their potential and understand
teamwork and responsibilities. “Straightway” is the
school motto and should always be the most significant
value that students uphold: being truthful and ready
to take up responsibilities and act immediately.
Mr. HO, Vice Principal, elaborated on the School’s
academic and support programmes. Ample
opportunity was provided for students to achieve
whole-person development. Taking career planning as
an example, workshops and activities such as Careers
Day, Workplace Visit, and Job Shadowing were
organised to help students do better life planning.
Different exchange programmes with local and
overseas schools could promote cultural exchange
and enhance students’ communication skills. A wide
variety of external and internal activities was held
to further enhance students’ learning, for instance,
English Café, Chinese Creative Writing on Instagram,
Joint School Science Exhibition, Underwater Robot
Competition, Sandbox Workshops in Geography and
Symphonic Band Contest.
To understand the multifaceted learning environment
in St. Mark’s School, four parties took turns
showcasing our students’ strengths.
