2022-11-30

Mathematics and Information Science are often intricately intertwined — from algorithms that power our search engines to encryptions that ensure safety of our online transactions, in which such a miraculous interplay empowers humanity to unravel the mysteries of our universe.

Our young mathematicians at St. Mark's have emerged victorious in the Competition on the Mathematics of Information 2023 organised by the Mathematics and Information Engineering Programme at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Competing against other top-tier schools, YEUNG Yeung (5A) took home the Gold Award and ranked 3rd with his astounding mathematical prowess, scholastic logic, and problem-solving skills.
