DING Joshua (Class of 2025)

Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws, The University of Hong Kong

I would say that St. Mark's is truly a place that nurtured my holistic well-being. The teachers provided ample resources and taught with dedication, for which I am deeply grateful. My classmates were kind and supportive, always offering encouragement. Without their unwavering support, I could not have become the person I am today.

The school also gave me countless opportunities to explore my interests. For instance, the literature talks, specialized classes, and Career Days helped solidify my passion for both literature and law.

Serving as Assistant Head Prefect equipped me with strong communication and leadership skills, and I forged lifelong friendships in that role. These experiences greatly enriched my school life. As Vice Chairperson of the Christian Fellowship, I was moved by the school’s commitment to fostering spiritual growth. The regular fellowships deepened my faith through shared reflections, strengthening me to face life’s later challenges. One verse my teacher shared from Philippians stays with me: 'I can do all things through Him who strengthens me'. St. Mark’s reinforced my belief that God is always with me when I turn to Him.

All in all, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to St. Mark’s, a place I proudly call my alma mater.
