Character, conviction, and service lie at the heart of true leadership. We are immensely proud to announce that two members of our Class of 2025, Joshua LAM, now reading Physiotherapy at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Joshua DING, now reading Arts and Laws at The University of Hong Kong, have been honoured with the 2025–2026 Grantham Scholars of the Year Award. Rising above an exceptionally competitive field of candidates from across Hong Kong, they have earned one of the territory's most prestigious accolades for all-round excellence.
As Head Prefect, Joshua Lam led with quiet confidence, integrity, and humility, earning the respect of both teachers and fellow students. Beyond his leadership, he served as Vice-chairperson of the Music Club, where his passion for music contributed to notable successes in the Hong Kong Youth Music Interflow and Joint-school Music Competitions. A devoted Christian, he has also sought to inspire and serve others by promoting the Christian faith through music, exemplifying a life of service both within and beyond the school.
Joshua Ding likewise demonstrated exceptional leadership as Assistant Head Prefect and Vice-chairperson of the Christian Fellowship, approaching every responsibility with compassion, initiative, and a genuine desire to serve. His commitment extended beyond the school campus through voluntary work with New Life Church, where he provided Chinese tutoring for those in need. Guided by a strong sense of justice and empathy, he aspires to become a barrister who advocates for fairness and upholds the rule of law.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Joshua Lam and Joshua Ding on this outstanding achievement. Their accomplishments reflect the values of scholarship, servant leadership, and integrity that our school seeks to nurture. We wish them every success as they continue to pursue their aspirations and make meaningful contributions to society.
