The Greater Bay Area Outstanding Students Award 2023–2024
What is an outstanding student? Is it purely and simply an accumulation of accolades and certificates, or does it correlate with one’s indomitable will to do the un-doable? The Greater Bay Area Outstanding Students Award embodies this spirit, celebrating those who have not only excelled in their own fields but have also inspired others through their shimmering talents.
Debate is more than an exchange of words; it is a dynamic fusion of ideas and eloquence. HUNG Hiu Tsun Thomas (4E), who is currently the assistant team captain of the Chinese Debate Team, has perfected this art, transforming each debate into a platform where logic and passion converge and leading his comrades to numerous victories, including the championship of the 21st Basic Law Cup Debating Competition and the 1st Runner-up of the 38th Singtao Inter-school Debating Competition.
Another awardee, YUNG Chi Long (1A), has emerged as a true steward in the realm of Mathematics and Science, nurturing his passion for numbers and problem-solving with dedication and creativity. He recently bagged the Gold Award in the Junior Secondary Science Online Self-Learning Scheme 2024.
