Mathematical Modelling Competition for Secondary Students 2025/26 - Merit Award
Mathematics extends far beyond numbers on a page — it is a language for understanding and shaping the world. At the Mathematical Modelling Competition for Secondary Students 2025/26, our St. Markans demonstrated their ability to apply mathematical thinking to real-world challenges, earning commendable results across both junior and senior divisions.
In the Junior Secondary Division, CHAN Pak Hei (3B), HUANG Yi Ran (3B), and HUI Wang Lok Lucas (3B) were awarded the Merit Award, showcasing clarity of thought and a solid grasp of modelling techniques.
In the Senior Secondary Division, HA Ying Fei Ethan (4A), HUI Yuet Mac (4A), KO Nam Cheung (4A), LAM Long Ho (4A), WAN Tsun Yan Jaden (4A), and CHIM Sum Yi (4B) also attained the Merit Award, reflecting their analytical precision and perseverance in tackling complex problems.
