59th Hong Kong Schools Dance Festival - Commended Award
St. Mark’s School aims to provide a dynamic schooling environment that caters for diverse needs and interest of millennials. Aside from our unfaltering dedication to grooming St. Markans to excel academically, we have been providing a myriad of learning opportunities for them to unleash their aesthetic potential.
Recently, our Dance Team participated in the 59th School Dances Festival and delivered a stunning performance. Their tailor-made costumes bore a resemblance to those chitons in ancient Greek made of exquisite white fabric with a sparkling golden attached belt. Not only did our girls exude their energy with their agile movements, but our boys also displayed their masculine strength in their fabulous costumes.
With persistence and diligence, our Dance Team bagged the Commended Award in the 59th Hong Kong Schools Dance Festival, with their piece entitled, ‘Pretentious’. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for our teacher advisors, Ms. Y.F. Tse and Ms. S. Suen for their meticulous and gentle guidance along the way.
