Science is the poetry of reality. Just as poetry captures the essence of human experience, science unveils the hidden wonders of our world — a captivating language that transcends borders and cultures, speaking volumes to our universal longing for knowledge and understanding.
St. Mark’s is brimming with opportunities for its ingenious minds to delve into the inseverable connection between science and our everyday life inside and outside the classroom. We are more than thrilled to announce the unparalleled achievement of our girls, Claire CHENG (4A) and Amy YI (4A), in which they have represented Hong Kong and triumphed in the 17th International Creative Mathematics & Science Competition held in South Korea.
Amidst an international backdrop teeming with young minds from various countries, our girls hardly flinched, and demonstrated scientific prowess and problem-solving acumen, from the inception of their groundbreaking invention to the meticulous craftsmanship of their creation, culminating in their sterling achievement of the Gold Award in the category of Invention and Maker.
Kudos to their resounding success! May their success inspire everyone to embrace the boundless wonders of science and strive for excellence in our own pursuits.
