TWGHs 153rd Anniversary Scholarship
In the vast cosmos of knowledge, where mysteries await the inquisitive mind, there exists a realm of limitless wonder and discovery: Science. In pursuit of a noble cause, which is to refine existing drug synthesis methods and unearth more cost-effective alternatives, one of our very own graduates, LEE Hoi Cheuk Samuel is now reading the International Research Enrichment programme at HKUST, and resolves to gaze into the microcosm of molecular intricacies, seeking answers to questions yet unasked.
With a steadfast commitment to academia and scientific exploration, Samuel recently earned the highly competitive TWGHs 153rd Anniversary Scholarship, which aims to award local secondary students with exceptional academic performance. His journey of discovering novel drugs for different generations exemplifies the transformative power of education and the boundless possibilities that lie ahead for those who dare to dream.
Another versatile graduate, CHONG Hei Chit Hana, who is now reading the L.L.B. programme at CUHK also demonstrates her grit and wit in weathering the vagaries of her life, including both academic and non-academic challenges in senior secondary education. She dreams of becoming a legal profession to champion the course of justice and being the voice of the voiceless. Such a striding-on spirit to do the undoable earns her another distinguished title as the awardee of TWGHs 153rd Anniversary Scholarship. Congratulations!
